Lately I had with some friends a number of conversations about old movies… like Saturdaynight Fever, Grease, Sgt Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band, Dungeons and Dragons (cartoon), the older Star Wars movies…
These talks brought back nice memories, so in the last period I have been collecting the DvD’s of these movies and it is great to watch them again (luckily many old movies and series are published on DvD).
Yesterday I watched Saturday Night Fever…. basically, a movie about nothing. But it was fun to see it again and to think how popular this movie was and that all people danced like that.
The days before I have watched the complete Dungeon & Dragons cartoon-serie (4 DvD’s). This serie I watched when younger and it is wonderful to have these DvD’s and to see them again… and finally to see the episodes that I have missed in the past.
My DvD collection is growing fast… and I have still so much to watch of it…
Jerassic Park… Do I need to say more? :)
No, you don’t have to say more. I have “Jurassic Park, the ultimate Collection” (All 3 movies plus 1 DvD with extra stuff). You better reserve some time ^_^.
I love watching old cartoons and some TV Shows from back then :) it makes me feel happy and I thoroughly enjoy them!! Last Christmas Tania gave me the complete collection of “Here Comes the Grump!” And mom gave me “Whacky Racers” and my brother has been giving me “The Flinstones” collection, yes, those were good cartoons! I still have to get Bugs Bunny and Top Cat, I watch them over and over and over again, and I just don’t get bored, I love them, call me childish, call me immature, I don’t care, I like them and enjoy watching them over and over and over again :) Specially on a cold rainy day outside and you are warm inside with a blanket and your favorite drink.
You are not alone there, Marcia. As I told you yesterday I love also to watch old cartoons… Dungeon & Dragons, Record of Lodoss War… but also Lucky Luck, Astrix & Obelix, Tom & Jerry…
This has nothing to do with being childish or immature… Many people love to watch these. One of the reasons why they are so often republished on DvD :).
