“Okay, somewhere begin this afternoon I woke up from a very deep sleep. The temperature around me was very nice and I must have been dreaming about Greece, because I was convinced that I was in Greece…
Until I felt a hand on my shoulder, I opened my eyes expecting to see a familiar face, but there was a woman standing there I did not know. And she was wearing strange clothes and the room was even more weird. I was confused…
A strong pressure in my groin pulled me very fast back to reality.
I was in the hospital and this morning I had finally the surgery for the double groin rupture (“dubbele liesbreuk”) I was suffering of!
The surgery went very well. For now almost no pain. I can even walk, small distances that is. But yes, I am still under a very strong painkiller (I was warned not to overtake myself). And for the coming days I have more strong painkillers to keep it all under control.
Now it is time to rest and recover from the surgery… and maybe dream a little more about Greece 🤗.“
