Just as Rob I have now been vaccinated against the coronavirus. Well, that means I had my first shot. The second one will follow in a month. Also, I got the Moderna vaccine.
I know there are many horror stories and conspiracy theories going around. If there would be a solid ground for these theories I would be the first to refuse the vaccine and advise anyone close to me (after all I am working over 25 years in pharmaceutical branch).
I have trust in the vaccine. Of course, there may be a small risk, but so has taken some paracetamol tablets (a bigger risk even). Or let us not even talk about something dangerous as crossing a street.
I already was told that I am only taking the vaccine because I want to go a holiday. Sure, being fully vaccinated will make travelling easier, but that is not the real reason I do it.
At the moment that I am vaccinated, the change that I will get infected will be much less and if it occurs, the course of the disease will be much milder. And what’s more, the change I’m going to infect someone else is less as well.
Vaccination is the way out of this mess!

Good to hear. It will make things easier as visiting your parents.
But ehh… I hope you remember you called me “Oldie” when I got the invitation. So welcome to the group of “Oldies” 😛
