Yesterday, I was bored. Last Friday, I sprained an ankle. I slipped off the stairs. If the virus was not enough to limit myself.
I remembered I had a jigsaw puzzle I had recently purchased. I’ve never been able to push myself to work on it, but now I could!
A scenery of Amsterdam at evening. A thousand pieces and a lot of the same colour. Not the easiest jigsaw puzzle.
Why Amsterdam? This is where I was born. And while I grew up across the country, I do love the city.
But there, the first pieces found already the correct place. I guess it’s going to be a long time before this puzzle is done, but that’s not a problem and maybe even a good thing.
Poor Rob :-(. I really hope your ankle will not give such troubles as it did some years ago.
But jigsaw puzzles are fun 🙂
Hey Robbie… I was reminiscing about the OLD Internet and FIDONet and stumbled onto your blog…. I noticed some time ago that you had left Facebook, so am happy to see you’re still around.
Mike and I are still in the same place… just a lot older. He finally retired last year when Covid hit and has kept busy with a lot of projects. He got out his ham radios again, and when he inherited his father’s old Colt 45 revolver, we both got back into target shooting.
Still have 4 Bouviers here to remind me of Holland. My EMAIL address has not changed.
Don’t be a stranger!
Cheers,
Sue
