Yesterday some colleagues and I did get together at Mulligans again. Mulligans is an Irish pub right at the Amstel in the city of Amsterdam. I love to come there
As always we coming there to play some games. And as a colleague brought his children along, we first played a game of Uno, which was a complete new game for me.
After that we turned to Monopoly and that is of course always fun.
About both games we played there were some discussions about the rules. Even so much that the official rules had to be checked on it. And we discovered that people brought many of their own rules in these games.
Afterwards someone us had dinner at “Het Fornuis”. We have been there before, so we knew it was a very good there. And I must admit, the deer steak I had was marvelous.
So all a good evening with lots of laughter and some interesting conversations. And oh… Marion, I have new t-shirt that you cannot have ^_^ 😛
Nice t-shirt…. MINE!!!!!
🙂
Neva…. and if you manage to put your hands on it somehow anyway, I will take it back with “fitting violence”
😛 😛
While she is wearing it? That is something I want to see 🙂
Sanne!!!! Behave!!!
And Rob, right now there is a big and deep water between us. So I am safe for you 🙂
LOL Sanne…. Good idea!!!
Then the t-shirt is also safe, Marion, because it is on this side of that water 😛
BTW the USB stick that lost as I mentioned in an earlier post, isn’t lost.
But I do know now that a USB stick can survive a washing machine 🙂
Was that the USB-stick that I ‘owned’ for an entire long weekend? 😉
Tom, you mean that USB-stick that you, as a perfect gentleman, stored safely without looking at its content…… and which learned Rob a precious lesson? 🙂
No, I don’t think it was that USB-stick 😛
Marion, I was exactly referring to that particular USB-stick that I, although the content might have been very tempting according to my boasting colleague, managed to store with superhuman self control in a locked cabinet without exploring its content. Just couldn’t withstand teasing you a tiny bit. !-)
So you value the lesson for Rob that there are still trustworthy people a precious one. I’m pleased to read that.
Well Tom, as I understood it from Rob you learned about the content of the USB-stick after it was returned to Rob. So I have to wonder who is boasting now 🙂
Teasing in a positive sense is always good 🙂
And yes, I am happy for Rob that the people he is dealing with daily are trustworthy, but that was not exactly what I was referring to, but I realize you know that 🙂
Well wonder-woman, Rob was completely right (how could we ever doubt him?). I could have known earlier if only I had taken the trouble to explore the dull container with its, what was the word you were using… eh, precious content. And precisely therein lies the problem. I think it’s indecent to poke around in someone else his or her property.
Exactly. As long as it doesn’t hurt someone’s feelings, it’s all right to tease.
In an earlier comment you describe me as a perfect gentleman. We never met, did we?
Again you’re so right…
Wonder Woman? I hope you don’t mind that I don’t dress as she does. Even when I’m in the US of A, it doesn’t mean that I am suddenly all US minded.
I agree with you. Privacy and respect for the property of someone are very important matters. Sadly not everyone thinks and acts like that.
And no, we never met before, but I do trust blindly on Rob’s judgment of people.
And of course I am right. Did you expect something else?
😛
Actually I did and do MIND on a regular basis (and Rob currently more than he wants too). This might get a bit cryptic. MIND is an application at GC.
It would not arise in my mind but now you bring up the idea of wearing spendex (or was it latex?) that may not even be such a bad idea to fill the next (secured) USB-stick.
After all I’ve heard about you I certainly did not expect anything else.
Although I have rather some clothing, there is no latex or anything alike among it. And this for a reason. One of the things clothes have to be is comfortable. In my opinion Latex is anything but comfortable. So no latex for me.
And I am afraid that these USB-sticks will be unused for the coming months.
